Job Duties and Accountabilities

Principal Function of the Position:

Responsible for providing product and program support for inside sales personnel, Territory Managers, branch operations, external customers, dealer networks and other related sales entities.  This individual will also be required to provide technical documentation, analysis and assistance for internal support functions such as marketing, advertising, design engineering, quality assurance, tooling & prototype and manufacturing.  This position requires traveling up to 50% of the term performing product demonstrations and training programs for outside sales, branch operations and dealer networks, and assists in the preparation, setup, manning and dismantling of various Unverferth product offerings throughout the United States.

Primary Product Support & Training Responsibilities:

  1. Assist with product improvement programs and product information to external customers.
  2. Assist with product improvement programs and product information to inside sales personnel.
  3. Assist with product improvement programs and product information to outside sales personnel.
  4. Provide telephone support for product service & technical issues facing territory managers.
  5. Provide technical support for product questions generated by customers, dealers and outside sales.
  6. Provide recommendations for product enhancements to various product lines.
  7. Provide Trade Show support for all Unverferth (Brent) product lines.
  8. Perform external product service calls with territory managers as required.
  9. Review and update knowledge of existing and new product offerings for that area.

 

 

Educational Requirements

Prefer a minimum of two years working toward a Bachelor’s degree in Agri-Business, Ag-Systems Technology, Agriculture Engineering or other related discipline or field of study.  Prior familiarity and/or hands-on experience with agricultural equipment and farming operations would be beneficial.
