Job Duties and Accountabilities

Principal Function of the Position:

Responsible for providing product and program support for inside sales personnel, Territory Managers, branch operations, dealer networks and other related sales entities.  This individual will also be required to provide technical documentation, analysis, and assistance for internal support functions such as marketing, advertising, design engineering, quality assurance, tooling, prototyping, and manufacturing.  This position requires traveling up to 8-10 weeks per year performing product training programs for outside sales, branch operations and dealer networks, and assisting in the preparation, setup, manning and dismantling of product trade show materials throughout the United States.


Secondary Function of the Position:

Responsible for supporting daily warehousing and delivery support for the geographic area assigned to this branch operation. These duties include multiple responsibilities and backup support for the branch operation including, but not limited to; data input, periodic order pulling, periodic stocking operations, and/or other project support functions as directed by members of the Unverferth management team.


Primary Product Support Responsibilities:


Educational Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Ag-Engineering, Ag-Systems Technology, Agri-Business or other related discipline. Candidates with an Associates’ degree and 2-3 years of applicable work experience can supplement their skills and experience in lieu of the bachelor’s degree.  Prior familiarity and/or hands-on experience with agricultural equipment and farming operations would be beneficial.
