Principal Function of the Position:
The primary function of this position is to assist in the daily execution of the accounts receivable function for all the Unverferth Manufacturing locations.
Primary Accounting Duties:
- Assist with various aspects of customer accounting such as invoicing, returns and other miscellaneous functions
- Provide a communication link with Unverferth Manufacturing facilities, sales personnel and customers
- Daily interactions with customers and assisting with questions
Physical Demands:
- Sit or stand at one workstation for most of your work shift.
- Use fingers to grasp, move, or assemble very small objects.
Education Requirements:
An Associate’s degree in Accounting or 2 years of applicable experience in a medium sized manufacturing company could be substituted for an Associate’s degree.
Prerequisite Skills and Work Experience:
- Must possess a pleasant, upbeat, and positive personality.
- Must have strong interpersonal skills in dealing with co-workers at all UM locations.
- Must have strong interpersonal skills in dealing with sales personnel and customers
- Must have strong organizational skills, critical thinking ability, sound logic, accuracy and attention to details.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products
- Must be able to effectively operate and thrive in a team-oriented work environment.
