Principal Function of the Position:
This position will oversee the day-to-day operations of regional distribution
and the inside sales facility. Multiple
responsibilities include: inside sales duties, shipping and receiving, data
input, coordinating inventory and stocking levels, and product assembly.
Primary Duties:
- Share knowledge with other branches and headquarters on effective practices, competitive intelligence, business opportunities, and needs.
- Manage inventory levels to meet the needs of service parts and wheel product requirements.
- Provide daily telephone support functions for incoming sales calls.
- Provide daily face-to-face support for sales.
- Print and key off daily shipments.
- Provide daily data entry and document filing of shipments.
- Pull part/wheel orders for daily shipments.
- Pull daily UPS & LTL orders from warehouse inventory.
- Maintain a clean, safe warehouse environment.
- Perform daily/weekly cleaning and housekeeping in the office and warehouse.
- Train, supervise, and appraise staff.
- Manage the resources and staff, deliver customer service, and grow the location’s revenues.
- Oversee the performance of employees at the location/branch.
- Delegate tasks to employees.
- Oversee building and equipment maintenance.
- Monitor expenses of the branch.
- Inside sales duties.
- Address customer and employee satisfaction issues promptly.
- Stay abreast of competing markets.
- Assist in product assembly.
Physical Demands:
- Sit for long periods of time.
- Repeat the same movements.
- Use fingers to grasp, move, or assemble very small objects.
- See details of objects that are more than a few feet away.
- Hold the arm and hand in one position or hold the hand steady while moving the arm.
- Use one or two hands to grasp, move, or assemble objects.
- See differences between colors, shades, and brightness.
- Hear sounds and recognize the difference between them.
- Make quick, precise adjustments to machine controls.
- Move two or more limbs together (for example, two arms, two legs, or one leg and one arm) while remaining in place.
- Focus on one source of sound and ignore others.
- Able to lift up to 50lbs.
Education Requirements:
Prefer an individual with Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Agribusiness, or other related field of study. However, candidates with an Associate’s degree with 2-3 years of applicable work experience in a related position can substitute their work experience and on-the-job training in lieu of the advanced education requirements.
