Principal Function of the Position:

The primary focus of this entry-level position is to provide comprehensive support for the organization’s software systems. This involves coding application interfaces, database analysis/design, and testing/debugging user reported issues. At times will be expected to collaborate on larger scale project teams to design, code, and implement new systems or upgrades to existing software.

This individual must be capable of handling multiple tasks, managing priorities, and perform daily work assignments with minimal supervision. Effective communications with peers, co-workers, and management will be expected.


Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Assist with frontend & backend support of company ERP applications and integrated software.
  2. Design, develop, and implement changes to software to meet specifications given by senior level programmers.
  3. Assist in troubleshooting and debugging critical issues as reported by end users.


Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Assist with general training of end users on the use of company web and desktop applications.
  2. Work closely with other programmers to develop company coding standards and best practices.
  3. Organize and update system documentation according to company guidelines.


Education Requirements:

Applicants are required to possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or other related discipline. An Associate degree and 1-3 years of prior work experience in one or more of the applicable disciplines within a medium sized company could be considered as substitute for the Bachelor’s degree requirement.

The individual must be willing to continue updating and advancing their skillset, capabilities, and certifications to meet the ongoing requirements for technology advancement and continuous changes in the information systems discipline.
